Returns will be accepted for up to 10 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:

– Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging).
– Item had defects.
– Over delivery time.
– The shipper does not allow the goods to be inspected before payment.

The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.

Standard Daikin Warranty (Australia)

  • 5 years parts and labour
  • Applies to split systems, multi-split, and ducted air conditioners installed in domestic premises. 
  • Covers manufacturing defects, faulty parts, and labour required to repair them. 

Conditions for the Warranty

To keep the warranty valid:

  • The unit must be professionally installed according to Daikin’s installation manual. 
  • Work must be done by a licensed technician or authorised service agent. 
  • The system must be operated and maintained correctly (e.g., cleaning filters). 

What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

The manufacturer warranty usually does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Lack of maintenance (dirty filters etc.)
  • Damage from storms, fire, floods, or misuse
  • Consumables like remote batteries
