Mitsubishi Electric air conditioners sold and installed in Australia generally come with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty covering parts and labour for most residential systems. 

Standard Residential Warranty

  • S Series
  • P Series (Mr Slim)
  • Multi-split and many ducted systems 
  • Covers manufacturing defects in both the indoor and outdoor units. 

What the Warranty Covers

  • Replacement of faulty parts
  • Labour to repair manufacturing defects
  • Repairs carried out by an authorised Mitsubishi Electric service provider. 

Conditions to Keep the Warranty Valid

  • The system must be installed by a licensed technician.
  • It must be purchased from an authorised Australian supplier.
  • Installed within a reasonable time (generally within 12 months of purchase).
  • Used and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Incorrect installation
